What do you do when you're not at Callie Co. Wellness?
I work in elementary special education, and in my free time enjoy hanging out with my husband and family, walking my pug at nature preserves, and cooking healthy food.
What are your goals and why did you start personal training at Callie Co. Wellness?
I started working with Callie because I needed accountability and wanted a coach who could safely and knowledgeably guide me through all of life's seasons. My husband and I were contemplating starting a family, and I loved that Callie had specialized training in pregnancy and postpartum exercise. My goals were to build strength, stamina, and mobility that supported my overall health.
What is one thing you have done since starting at Callie Co. that you never thought you could do?
One thing I've done that I never thought I could since starting at Callie Co. is run a 10k--which included 300 stairs AND running in sand!
What would you say to someone who is nervous about trying a session?
To someone who is nervous about trying a session, I'd say: You've got nothing to lose & everything to gain! Callie is incredibly approachable, give it a try!
Any additional comments? I've never been a person who enjoys working out and was never consistent before working with Callie. Since working with her I have developed a genuine love of exercise and have consistently worked out for over 18 months. Thanks, Callie!
Callie’s Comments:
I have so many thank yous for Jes. Before “Callie Co. Wellness” was a thing I was training her virtually. Her consistency and belief in me is a big reason I decided to take a chance and start this business. Grateful it has turned into a full-time dream job. She has overcome many obstacles over our 1.5 years together yet continues to be stronger every day. I’m thankful she is part of my life, I’m thankful she ran a 10k with me (she CRUSHED IT), and I am thankful she continues to be consistent and spend some time with me each week. Congratulations on your hard work, celebrate by buying some heavier weights ;)
