What do you do when you're not at Callie Co. Wellness?
I’ve just started college so I’m mostly just studying or doing homework now, I’m also in ballroom dancing club so I do that too!
What are your goals and why did you start classes at Callie Co. Wellness?
Just to get stronger and feel better physically and mentally. I needed to get out of the house when I first started and had been looking for a way to get more physically fit, and I was struggling to find the motivation to start. I’ve always known I like group workouts better than working out on my own, so when Callie Co. started up, it was just perfect! Now I have other goals too, like bulk up a little bit and look as strong as I feel, and to start running eventually, and to just build up my stamina overall.
What is one thing you have done since starting at Callie Co. that you never thought you could do?
Lift heavy! Do step ups with 50 pounds! And do Bulgarian split squats! and honestly all of it, I’ve become more outspoken and encouraging in class, which I never really thought I could do. I never thought I would feel confident while working out, but I do now. I injured my back about 4 years ago and have been struggling with other health issues ever since, and I never thought I could get back to a good state of fitness with my health issues, but I’m doing it!
What would you say to someone who is nervous about trying a class?
Just get in there! Callie and the whole class of people are so supportive and encouraging. There are always modifications to be made and any level of fitness is welcomed. Stacy says as long as you’re moving that’s what counts, and it’s true.

Any additional comments?
Something I’m always working toward is staying mentally well, I’ve had a hard last few years with some really mentally tough times with my depression and other parts of my mental health, and I’ve always known I need routine and support. Coming to Callie Co. has given me both in huge amounts and really helped me feel like I have things to work toward and helped me feel motivated and stable and mentally well.
Callie’s Comments: Rhiannon is one of my most improved members! When she started we modified almost every movement because she had back pain-fast forward a few months and she is able to complete workouts with little to no modifications! She has learned the importance of nutrition, proper movement, she’s consistent in class and started personal training 1 day per week. Rhiannon is strong and getting stronger every day. The other great thing about Rhiannon is that she really has stepped up and helped new members feel welcome by teaming up with them and cheering them on. She is a wonderful person in the Callie Co family and we are excited for all of the things she is going to accomplish in the future.
